Please note: It is against the law to bring firewood to Kelleys Island!

Bringing firewood from the mainland to Kelleys Island is strictly prohibited by village law. This restriction is in place to protect our treasured natural areas from invasive pests – particularly the Asian Longhorn Beetle, which is a threat to the maple trees that shade our parks and preserves. There is a container available at the Kelleys Island Ferry dock for disposal of any wood mistakenly brought to the boat.
