Planning your trip to the island, but getting here is another. If you don't own a boat, and aren't fond of plane travel, you can catch either the Kelleys Island Ferry or the Jet Express.
The Kelleys Island Ferry Boat Line offers daily vehicle and passenger service from Marblehead, Ohio, to Kelleys Island. The ferry accepts automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, walk-on passengers, and pets, and can also accommodate tour buses, RVs, trucks, and tractor trailers.
The Jet Express offers passenger-only service between Sandusky, Ohio, Kelleys Island, Put-In-Bay, and Cedar Point amusement park. The service runs daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with weekend service in September. The Jet does not carry vehicles, but does accept bicycles, luggage, and pets.
