Since 1960, the business has spent each summer as an ice cream and restaurant. The Brewery is family owned and operated and hosts unique teams of servers and cooks from all over the world every season. The Kelleys Island Brewery is open from April 19 until October 31 and posts seasonal hours in the spring and fall.
Patti Johnson-Muryani built the Brewery while she was a schoolteacher in 1999. Patti's parents built the ice cream stand in 1960. Doug, her husband, is a prolific brewer of high quality craft beers. Doug has created seven types of beers that have become popular with beer enthusiasts around the country and the world. The Brewery is proud to host those who love handcrafted brews and food with a spectacular view to boot!
Perhaps one of the best things about the Brewery is its breakfast menu, which is ever-changing and geared toward imaginative palates. Hash Brown Heaven and Hades, Chicken and Waffles, and traditional eggs, homemade potatoes, thick sliced bacon cooked fresh daily, and high quality coffee, and tasty daily specials keep diners happy and full as they enjoy their meal by the lake. In fact, it's not uncommon to have visitors from the mainland that come in just for a Brewery breakfast!

The Brewery's lunch and dinner menus are unique and Fresh with items FROM THE GRILL FROM THE ROASTER and Desserts FROM the oven…. Iced drinks and smoothies are also available along with fresh and healthy breakfast items that are gluten free and vegan friendly.
