28th Annual 10K & 5K

The 28th annual Kelleys Island 10K & 5K Run starts at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2010. The race is supervised by Firelands Area Runners Club of Sandusky and sponsored by the Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau and the Kelleys Island Ferry Boat Line.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the
National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Race-t-shirts to the first 300 registrants

Race entry is $10.00 for pre-registered participants or, on race day, $12.00 with a t-shirt and  $10.00 without a t-shirt. Pre-register by completing the attached form and mailing it with a $10.00 check to: K. I. Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 783, Dept. 5K & 10K Run, Kelleys Island, OH 43438.  It must be postmarked by June 1, 2010.

There is also a 1-mile Fun Run at 11:45 a.m. Entry fee for this event is $1.00 both prior to and on race day.  All 1-mile finishers receive ribbons and are eligible for merchandise drawings.  However, t-shirts are not included in the entry fee.

Arrive on Kelleys Island via the Kelleys Island Boat Line, departing every 1/2-hour from Marblehead. The latest suggested ferry leaves at 9:30 a.m., as you need 30 minutes once you are on the island to arrive downtown and be ready for the start. Be sure to let the boat line know you are running in the race to receive the discounted ticket price.
